Perimenopause & Menopause Midlife Care

Midlife Health Deserves More Than a Quick Prescription

Work one-on-one with a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) who specializes in midlife hormonal health.

Perimenopause and menopause involve shifting, fluctuating physiology that requires thoughtful evaluation, risk assessment, personalized dosing, and ongoing adjustment.

At MC Wellness, we use a structured Hormone Optimization Pathway to ensure your care is thorough, safe, and individualized.

This approach moves beyond simply “checking levels.”

Instead, we build a comprehensive plan focused on symptom relief, long-term health protection, and improved quality of life.

Initial Visit

60 minutes | $325

Your initial consultation is a comprehensive 60-minute evaluation designed to fully assess your symptoms, medical history, cardiometabolic risk factors, and long-term health goals.

This visit includes:

• Detailed medical and reproductive history
• Review of current symptoms and prior hormone use
• Cardiometabolic and lifestyle risk assessment
• Education on evidence-based treatment options
• Customized lab panel ordering

Hormone therapy is not initiated at the first visit.

Safe, personalized treatment requires careful lab evaluation and structured follow-up.

Laboratory testing is billed separately.

If we determine you are a candidate for hormone optimization, your next visit will focus on detailed lab interpretation, risk–benefit discussion, and development of your personalized treatment plan.

This pathway is designed for women who:

• Are experiencing perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms
• Want structured, evidence-based care
• Prefer clarity in pricing and process
• Value thorough evaluation over rushed visits
• Are focused on improving both quality of life and long-term health

To build a comprehensive understanding of your current health and design a long-term optimization strategy, we devote over three hours of dedicated clinical time across three structured visits focused entirely on you and your needs.

This is not a quick consultation. It is an intentional process designed to create clarity, stability, and sustainable improvement.

This structured pathway provides you with defined visits, clear pricing, and a transparent care plan.

TREATMENT OPTIONS MAY INCLUDE

• Transdermal estradiol (patch or gel)
• Oral micronized progesterone
• Testosterone therapy (cream or pellet)
• Pellet therapy (separate procedure fee)
• Vaginal estrogen for genitourinary symptoms

*The best option depends on your health history, lab findings, preferences, and goals.

Questions about your visit, if MCW is the right fit for you, or clarification on payment and procedures? Read below to review our most frequently asked questions and answers.

Do you take insurance?

No. MC Wellness is a concierge cash-pay practice and does not contract with insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, we can provide a detailed receipt or superbill for you to submit to your insurance or HSA/FSA administrator for potential reimbursement.

Are labs included in the pathway fee?

No. A comprehensive fasting hormone and metabolic panel is required and is $225. This panel is specifically designed for structured midlife hormone care. Additional testing may be recommended based on your individual needs.

Can I use outside lab results?

We do not substitute outside laboratory testing in place of our required panel unless done within the last four weeks as our evaluation process is intentionally designed to assess hormone balance, metabolic health, and long-term risk in a standardized way.

What if I am transferring care and already on hormone therapy?

Patients who are stable and optimized may qualify for a structured Transfer of Care visit rather than the full pathway. This will be determined after review of your medical history and recent laboratory testing.

Do you prescribe pellets?

Yes. Pellet therapy is one of several hormone replacement options available within the Hormone Optimization Pathway.

Pellet insertion is considered an add-on procedural service and is $375 on the day of the procedure. The medication is included in this fee. The in-office procedure typically takes 20–30 minutes.

Hormone pellets are small, slow-release implants placed just beneath the skin. They deliver a steady, consistent dose of estradiol and/or testosterone over several months.

Dosing is individualized based on your age, menopausal stage, symptoms, laboratory findings, and overall health history.

Pellet therapy is discussed and determined within the context of your full evaluation and is not initiated without completion of the structured pathway and appropriate risk assessment.

What is your cancellation policy?

A $50 deposit is required at booking and is applied toward your pathway fee. We require 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Please review our full office and financial policies for additional details.

Minimalist Desk Setup

I turned 40 and I felt like I was falling apart-After months of hearing "oh that's part of it!", "Welcome to 40!", and "It's NORMAL", I searched Misty's name and found she was specializing in this field! I immediately booked an appointment and cannot express how thankful I am for her! She "fixed" me.
